Al, I didn't want to risk getting tired of Heart Song, so I've been listening to your first 2 CD's after not playing them for a while. 'Breathe Again' on the Never Too Late CD is my hands-down favorite at the moment. Don't know why, but your playing on that tune really speaks to me. First of all, I love you always. I was so grateful to have come to DC in Feb. to see you at Blues Alley and have played your CD until it has nearly worn. Great new pictures. Alice says hello and that SHE had the pleasure of seeing you on the big stage last night. I had no idea you were going to be playing or I wouldn't have been running errands at that moment! It was so good to hear from you! Congrats on your new CD, 'Heart Song' and your new label signing with Pacific Coast Jazz. From your first CD and the pure emotion of 'Anjo do Amor' to 'Emma's Bomba' on the 2nd, and the cool ride of 'Skyline Drive' on your 3rd, your sound infiltrates, lingers, and is remniscient of a finely aged wine.
Just one question... Do we have to wait another 5 years for the next flavor? I can say this, if we must, it's worth it!

We went to a jazz Wednesday festival at Green Valley Ranch in Las Vegas, NV and checked out the Smooth Jazz book and saw our friend, Al Williams. We want to keep in touch with Al Williams and know where he is playing. He is the best Sax player out there.

WOW!! I haven't enjoyed a live concert like Tues, 2/19/08 at Blues Alley in a very long time! Blues Alley needs to re-book Al for a string of dates right away so that more fans can hear this fantastic music. Hey Al, The new CD is awesome! I really liked the other two, but this one is just at a whole new level and dimension. Your music is now putting smiles on faces of people in China and Germany. I've been giving them away to friends in both countries. I wish I could come to the CD release party at Blues Alley. Unfortunately it's too long a of a commute from Beijing!
